Empowerment of the poor with an intention of a pro-poor model of development especially keeping the most marginalized communities of the society in mind. In re-defining the development paradigm from the vantage point of the poor, Ekta Parishad members work with publicly-spirited youth who are otherwise feeling rudderless and directionless to channelize their creative energy and enthusiasm for social, political and economic reconstruction.
